Welcome to Koyotei. This Modern Ryokan is located on the same grounds as Baishokaku and it has 23 Japanese-style guest rooms and a wonderful Japanese garden. At night guests have a great view of the city of Nagasaki lying below. There are indoor baths for both women and men (same gender only). Traditional Japanese-style cuisine is served to the guests at Koyotei. Check-in time is after 2:00pm and check-out time is before 10:00am. Parking is available.

    The only good point about this Guesthouse is the view over Nagasaki. The staff speak so little English, it is very difficult to communicate with them . We had to use an online translator. It is very isolated.Advertised as only 850 metres from main train station. However this is up an extremely step hill and really not walkable. You have to use a shuttle bus up and down the hill. Not good value for money. If you are looking for a wonderful Ryokan experience this is not the one. There is no restaurant and no where to eat other than dinner provided in your room. This is not cheap and drinks expensive. Disappointing.
