Welcome to KKR Nara Mikasaso. This Traditional Ryokan has two buildings to suit all guests. The traditional building for the authentic feel and the “Shinkan” for the more modern guest. This ryokan is located within the beauty of the famous Nara Park, surrounded by the seasonally changing colors of the park's trees. You also have the pleasure of regular visits by the charming wild Japanese Shika Deer. Not only is this ryokan near to all of the attractions that Nara Park has to offer, it is next door neighbor to the famous shrine Kasuga Taisha.

The location is a bit far from the main district but it is really quiet. The living experience is special and unforgetable. Food and food service is excellent. Public toliet and bathroom are clean and convinient. What is interesting is that other guests besides us are all old Japanese couples.

The food and service at KKR Mikasa is excellent. If you forgot to get a map of Nara at the train station, you can get one here. From here, walk 10mins and you are at the famous Kasuga Taisha. Along the way, you will see deers all over the place. Traditional ryokan, staffs speak little english but enough to communicate.
