I did not really liked Sinonomesou. On the positive side, the staff was quick and helpful (they helped me book a appointment to the barber), the place looked nice and we had a lot of food to eat (be warned they serve typical old style Japanese food. It can be a bit bland and scary if you are not used to it). Unfortunately our room wasn't very clean. I had stains on my pillow, there was dried piss and pubic hair in the toilet, we found a live cockroach and the room itself ( sheets included) smelled like old crab. Could not get rid of the smell even with the windows open. The food wasn't really up to the part either. It wasn't bad, but some ingredients were definitely not fresh. After eating in other Ryokans and restaurants, the food quality was disappointing (but there was plenty of it)
