From Tokyo Train Station: Take the Joetsu Shinkansen (Bullet Train) to JR Jomo Kogen train station. At Jomo Kogen train station, take the bus to Minakami train station (a 25 minute bus ride). When you arrive at Minakami, the staff at Tanigawa Ryokan will pick you up. From Ueno Train Station, Tokyo: Take the Tokyu (Express Train) on the Joetsu train line to Minakami train station. When you arrive at Minakami, bus station, the staff at Tanigawa Ryokan will pick you up.
