By Train: 3 minute walk from Miyanoshita Station on the Hakone Tozan Line to the cable car information center.
From Narita International Airport: Take Airport Limousine Bus or NARITA EXPRESS(NEX) limited express to Shinjuku. And then take the “Romance Car”(Odakyu Line) to Hakone-Yumoto Station and then use the Hakone-Tozan Line from Hakone-Yumoto Station to Miyanoshita. Or you can take the Shinkansen to Odawara (from Tokyo Station or Shinagawa Station) and then take Hakone-Tozan Line to Miyanoshita Station.
By Car: From Tokyo: Get on the Tomei Expressway to the Atsugi Interchange and take the Odawara-Atsugi Expressway, enter Route 1 from the Hakone Exit and then go towards Miyanoshita. From Gotemba: To Miyanoshita on Route 138.
Important Travel Warning: It takes a long time to go through customs at Narita International Airport and then travel to Hakone. If your plane lands in the early morning at Narita International Airport, you can make it to a Hakone ryokan in time for dinner. However, if your plane arrives after 10:00am you WILL NOT be able to make it in time for dinner. You should stay at least 1 night in Tokyo and then go to Hakone the next day."
