From JR Matsuyama train station, it is a 1 minute walk to the Iyo Railway Line. At Matsuyama Ekimae train station on the Iyo train line, take the train to Dogo Onsen train station and it is a 17 minute train ride. It is a 5 minute walk from Dogo Onsen train station to Kowakuen.
