From JR Kyoto Station go to the bus terminal right outside the Karasuma Exit. From there go to terminal D-2, take the bus No.206 and get off at the bus stop called Higashiyama-yasui. After getting off the bus, walk about 50 meters north on Higashioji St. You will see Ryokan " The KINOE" on your left. This will take about 20 minutes.
