From Tokyo: Take the JR Shinkansen Bullet Train "Asama" to Nagano Station (about 90 minutes). Transfer to the Nagano Dentetsu line and take it to Yudanaka Station (about 80 minutes). From there it is about 3 minutes on foot to Hotel Tsubakino (a free pick-up service is available) .
From Kyoto or Osaka: Take JR Shinkansen to Nagoya Station (about 80 minutes). Transfer to the JR express "Shinano" and take it to Nagano Station (about 3 hours). Transfer to the Nagano Dentetsu line and take it to Yudanaka Station (about 80 minutes). From there it is about 3 minutes on foot to Hotel Tsubakino (a free pick-up service is available).
