From Tokyo: Take the Shinkansen Bullet Train from Tokyo train station to Atami train station. At Atami train station, change to the Izukyu train line and continue to Shimoda train station. It is a 2 hour and 45 minute train ride. From Shimoda train station, it is a 10 minute taxi ride to the Daichinoiro Kagetsutei. There is a free shuttle bus service to the ryokan from Shimoda Train station, but advanced reservations are needed for this service.
