Welcome to Fujitomita. Operated by Hiromi and Hasayuki Amano, this family-run Standard Ryokan is ideally located near Lake Yamanaka, Mount Fuji, and the Five Lakes district. There are 8 Japanese-style rooms at Fujitomita, and 3 of these rooms have their own private bath and toilet. Shared hot spring baths are provided for both women and men (same gender only). Swimming pool and tennis court are available to guests at Fujitomita, and in the summertime BBQs are held by the swimming pool.

Directions: From Tokyo, take the JR Chuo train line from Tokyo train station or Shinjuku train station to Otsuki train station. At Otsuki train station, transfer to the Fujikyu train line and go to Fujisan train station. This is a 2 hour and 30 minute train ride. At Fujisan* train station, please call Fujitomita and they will pick you up at the train station. The pick-up service operates between 14:00 and 17:00. If you arrive before 14:00, please take a taxi to Fujitomita (about a 2,000 yen taxi fare).

* Fujisan Station name was recently changed from Fujiyoshida Station and you may see the old station name from time to time.
