Welcome to the the Yumotokan. This Modern Ryokan is located on the banks of Lake Biwa near Kyoto. The Yumotokan was established in 1981. At the Yumotokan there are 4 buildings, the Honkan with 14 guests rooms, the Minamikan with 15 guests rooms, the Nishikan with 18 guests rooms and the Gesshintei with 28 rooms. All the guests rooms have their own private bath, also in the Gesshintei all the guests rooms have their own private indoor Hot Spring bath. There are two family bathes that can be reserved for private use, please let us know if you would like to use it has a reservation might be needed. The main dish that is served at the Yumotokan is the Oumi Beef.
