Welcome to the Koyokan. This Luxurious ryokan is located in the Muko valley near Osaka. The Koyokan has a 200 year long history and was completely renovated in 2008. This ryokan is perfect for a comfortable and delicious Japanese hot spring experience. The Koyokan offers 12 Japanese combined Western Hanare (Private Guest Residence) with private bathroom and views of the river or mountains. The Koyokan is not far away from Osaka (less than one hour) but you will be surprised by the calm and beauty of this place, especially in spring and autumn.

Arrived hoping to see the start of Fall colors. But it was too early. Guess we’ll have to blame Mother Nature. Otherwise the stay was everything I expected and more. The service was impeccable, the food was an epicureans delight, the Japanese style bath was most fun and the outdoor hot bath was a delight. All this while being surrounded by a quiet, peaceful setting. A stay of at least three days is a must in order to rest and relax and enjoy the fantastic meal presentation.
