This ryokan has a unique concept with 5 residences. Not only you will stay in one of the private residence, plus the staff of Iizukatei will show you around this beautiful rural town.
In a spacious residence, you will find a living room with a sofa and a dining room with a full kitchen.
You will feel completely at home whether it is a short or long stay.
Each residence has two bedrooms with two semi-double beds, and is capable of accommodating a group of four to five guests.
Up to three groups can occupy these residences at the same time.
In these historic buildings with a spectacular design, feel the history, enjoy each moment of the slow flow of time, and unwind yourself.
About Meals:
Restaurants around the town serve special meals to Iizuka-tei guests.
There is a restaurant street five minutes away on foot from the hotel.
Among them is a great Western food restaurant that serves rice omelet, sautéed pork, and hamburger steaks. There are also Japanese food restaurants that use local resources to serve sweetfish dishes, handmade soba, Yamizo shishimaru (wild boar), and willow gudgeon dishes.
You may choose to use the catering service to have food delivered to your room.
There are three kinds of dinner to choose from: Japanese, Western, and vegan.
Breakfast will be delivered to your room.
About Activities:
The Naka River runs through the center of the town.
This river, the origin of the name of the town, is the clearest river in east Japan.
Enjoy activities like sweetfish fishing, rafting, cycling, game meat hunting and dining, hot springs, golfing,
and many more in the magnificent natural environment around the clear river.
There is also an optional activity to have dinner with farmers at their house near the hotel.
