From JR Kushiro train station (on the JR Nemuro Honsen rail line), it is a 72 minute bus ride to the Akanko Bus Terminal. From the bus terminal it is a 3 minute walk to Hanayuuka. It is also a 90 minute shuttle bus ride from Kushiro Airport to Hanayuuka.
