We were a group of 11 freinds spread across 4 Japanese style rooms early April 2019. Everything was superb from the moment we checked in until we checked out. The food was delicious, onsen was great and the location truly wonderful. Our only regret was not staying for longer.

    1) Food was fantastic. You get your own private room for the keiseki dinners, and they are amazing. 2) The shared "family" onsen downstairs in the main building are great, you can use them as long as you like, you don't need to hassle with reservations (for the non-Japanese speaker), and they're open 24 hours. It wasn't busy when we went, so we had them to ourselves, and enjoyed them. 3) Walkable to the rest of town easily. Only downside is that they don't have in-room private onsen, but with the family onsen downstairs it's not a big deal. Worth a visit.
