Welcome to Izumiso. This Modern Ryokan is located in Gero Onsen (Gero Hot Spring) which has a history of over 1,000 years. The hot spring water at Gero Onsen is said to be beneficial to one's general health and skin. Izumiso has 23 Japanese-style rooms, and only some of the rooms have their own private bath and toilet. This is a very traditional ryokan made entirely of wood, and it has both and indoor and outdoor hot spring baths, which are open 24 hours a day. Izumiso serves local Hida beef, river fish, and fresh, seasonal vegetables. Check-in time is after 15:00 and check-out time is before 10:00 am. Parking is available.
