Welcome to Nakanoyu Onsen Ryokan. This Modern Ryokan is open from April to early November and has 46 Japanese-style rooms. There are shared indoor and outdoor hot spring baths for both women and men. The baths baths are open 24 hours a day, and guests have a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains. Fresh vegetables and river fish are served throughout the year. Check-in time is after 15:00 and check-out time is before 10:00 am. Parking is also available.

  We booked a 2-day stay at this ryokan. We were given a room that faced the mountain and the view was simply spectacular. Unfortunately, it rained heavily on our first day at the ryokan. This spoiled our plan to visit the Kamikochi National Park on the first day. Just as we thought we were going to leave this place with regrets, the rain stopped on the second day. In order not to disappoint us, the ryokan staff actually offered to send our luggage to the bus terminal of the national park, pick us up from the bus terminal and sent us to the Matsumoto Station. Without their help, we would have to rush back to the ryokan to collect our luggage and this would mean we would not have sufficient time to cover almost all the interesting spots in Kamikochi. I would like to thank the staff for their kindness and help. Without which, we would not have enjoyed our trip so much.

  Our stay at the Ryokan was simply wonderful. Staff is very friendly, helpful and attentive, food is excellent. Kamikochi is like a nature wonderland. Can't recommend it enough!

  I spent one night here and had a very relaxing time. I arrive late afternoon and spent some time in the outdoor onsen which was lovely and had a great view of the mountains. My room had a great view as well. The staff are very friendly, attentive and helpful. The food was wonderful and the room I was in was lovely. I will definitely return here as I would like to visit Kamikochi in the Autumn.
