Welcome to Tamaya-Higashiyama. This Ryokan Hotel (see definition of ryokan styles below) is located in the heart of Higashiyama Onsen, and it has 49 Japanese-style guest rooms. There are indoor and outdoor hot spring baths for both women and men (same sex only). Traditional, local Japanese cuisine is served to the guests at Tamaya-Higashiyama. Check-in time is after 3:00pm and check-out time is before 10:00am. Parking is available.

Tamaya-Higashiyama's Address: Yumoto, Higashiyama-machi Aizu Wakamatsu-shi, Fukushima-ken
Directions: It is a 15 minute taxi ride from JR Aizu Wakamatsu train station on the Banetsu Saisen rail line to Tamaya-Higashiyama. There is also a bus which departs from JR Aizu Wakamatsu train station and goes to Higashiyama Onsen (a 20 minute bus ride). After 3:00pm there is a pick-up service from the Higashiyama Onsen Bus Stop to Tamaya-Higashiyama.
