Monjuso

Location: Amanohashidate, Kyoto Prefecture (a 2 hour train ride from Kyoto)

Welcome to Monjuso. This Traditional Ryokan (see definition of ryokan styles below) is surrounded by a beautiful Japanese garden and the guest rooms look out on to the river. There are 31 Japanese-style rooms in Monjuso, and this traditional ryokan has indoor and outdoor hot spring baths for both women and men (same sex only). Japanese "kaiseki" (formal, traditional meals) are served to the guests. Check-in time is after 2:00pm and check-out time is before 10:00am. Parking is available and there is also a pick up service available from JR Amanohashidate train station.
